Teaming with the Cobra again, Hyde attempted to acquire Cagliostro's serum. With the Scorpion, Hyde then battled Captain America and the Falcon. They teamed with the Jester to get revenge, but were defeated again. Hyde and the Cobra escaped prison, but were eventually recaptured by Daredevil. He even became successful in creating his formula and turned himself into a massive, Hulk-like creature he called Mister Hyde, named after the character in the novel.
